Hello, I am Olivia
I am a project manager. I am a parent, and an expat currently based in New York, United States.
A few years ago I moved here with my family, and what began as a short-term assignment slowly became a new chapter living abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United States wasn't in the grand plan. As with many international moves, it began as a job opportunity and quickly grew into something far more significant.
The early months were demanding— unfamiliar processes, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more complex than necessary.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock and uncertainty, plus plenty of hands-on learning. Over time, familiar routines emerged. We found places that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Meadow Haven Path
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a genuine, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap with practical guidance drawn from real life in United States.
